- Walking down to the prom can be a bit dicey if you are not too able bodied

+ "A very friendly hotel, proprietors couldn't do enough for us. The food was very good so we didn't have to go & look for a restaurant. The drink & food prices were very reasonable. It was only 5/10 minutes walk along to the theatre, as this was our reason for staying it was really convenient as parking would have been difficult at the theatre. We would stay again"

"Very comfortable with good accommodation"

We have stayed at this hotel four or five times and have always been well look after in clean and comfortable rooms. The room we were in on this visit had been newly decorated and carpeted.

"Very enjoyable in every way"

Everything was very good. If we intend to visit the area again The Ilfracombe will be our first choice hotel.
